About Sochen
सोचें (sochen) means “let’s think” in Hindi. Sochen is a personal agent that thinks a job through with you, does the work, and asks before anything leaves your hands.
Why we built it
Personal agents are finally good enough to do real work: research, compare, plan, follow up. But the ones people hear about are built by companies that earn from your data, and many of them are not available where most of the world lives. Sochen is built in India, for everyone. There is nothing to download: it works in your browser, keeps working when you close the tab, tells you what a big job will cost before it starts, and shows you everything it remembers.
Meet Eli
Eli is Sochen’s eagle. We chose an eagle because of what the Bible says about them. Each of these lines is a promise about how Sochen works.
“They shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Eli keeps working in the background after you close the tab, and the result is waiting when you come back.
“Her eyes behold afar off.”
Eli searches the live web, spots what matters, and tells you where every fact came from.
“I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.”
Eli carries the job from start to finish and brings the result back to you.
“As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings.”
Eli watches over you: nothing that sends, books, pays, or deletes happens without your OK. And every night Eli tidies the nest, keeping what matters from your chats in a memory you can see and edit.
Why “Eli”
In the Bible, Eli is the priest who taught young Samuel to listen, telling him to answer, “Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth” (1 Samuel 3:9). Our Eli listens first, and asks before acting.
