A Perplexity Comet alternative

Comet is a free web browser whose AI assistant works in your own tabs; Sochen is a personal agent with its own cloud computer that you open in any browser, and it also talks with you on the phone, calls businesses for you, warns you before things go wrong, and splits bills with UPI QR codes. Comet’s agent is limited on Perplexity’s free plan; Pro is $20 a month and Max $200.

7 days of Plus for $5, then a monthly plan if you want one. Nothing renews on its own.

Questions

Do I have to switch browsers to use Sochen?+
No. Sochen opens in the browser you already use, on any device, and does its web work on its own cloud computer.
Is Sochen free like Comet?+
Every account starts with a 7-day trial of Plus for one payment of $5 (₹199 in India). It never renews: after 7 days you pick a plan if you want to keep going. The free tools at sochen.dev/tools need no account at all. Bigger jobs use more credits and show their cost before they start; paid plans are in rupees in India.
Does Sochen use my logged-in accounts?+
Only where you sign in yourself: when a site asks, Sochen hands you the keyboard and never types passwords, codes or card numbers. Keeping sign-ins between jobs is off unless you turn it on, and they're stored encrypted.
Can I use both?+
Yes. Browse with Comet, and hand Sochen the jobs that need a phone call, a video watched, a bill split with UPI QR codes, or a heads-up before something goes wrong.
