Is it free?+
Making an invoice costs no credits. Asking in a chat uses a little of the model, like any message, and new accounts start with a 7-day trial of Plus for $5.
How does it know CGST and SGST from IGST?+
From where you are and where the supply goes: within your state it charges CGST and SGST (half the rate each); to another state, IGST. Your state comes from your GSTIN, and the customer's from their GSTIN or the state you give.
What if I'm not registered for GST?+
Leave the GSTIN empty and Sochen makes a plain invoice with no GST, saying the seller isn't registered.
How are invoices numbered?+
In sequence for each financial year, like INV/2026-27/001, starting again on 1 April. You choose the prefix.
How does the UPI QR work?+
Save your UPI ID once and every invoice carries a QR for its exact amount, with the invoice number as the note. Your customer scans it with any UPI app and the money comes straight to you; Sochen never touches it.
Does it remind me when someone hasn't paid?+
Yes. Invoices are kept as unpaid until you mark them paid, and Heads-ups tells you when one is overdue, with a polite reminder ready to send.
