Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Sochen (“Sochen”, “we”, “us”) for your use of Sochen at sochen.dev and any site or app we run under the Sochen name. By creating an account or using Sochen, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Sochen.

1. What Sochen is

Sochen is a personal AI agent that runs in your web browser. You tell it what you want done, and it plans the work and carries it out using AI models, web search and page reading, a cloud browser, background workers, and the apps and services you choose to connect. Sochen is in beta, so features may change.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract where you live.
  • Use a real email address and keep your password safe. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
  • An account is for one person. Do not share it or sell access to it.
  • If you think someone else has used your account, tell us at once at ndivij2004@gmail.com.

3. AI results and your approvals

  • AI models make mistakes. Sochen’s answers, research, prices and summaries can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. Check anything important before you rely on it. Sochen is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial or tax advice.
  • Before Sochen does something that leaves your control, such as sending a message, booking, paying, deleting or publishing, it asks for your approval and shows what it will do. When you approve an action, or allow a connection to act without asking, you are responsible for that action and its results.

4. Connected apps and websites

  • You can connect third-party services to Sochen, for example through MCP servers, using your own credentials. You confirm that you have the right to connect them and to let Sochen act on them for you. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for them.
  • When you ask, Sochen visits websites for you, including through a cloud browser. Use this only for your own tasks and in line with those websites’ terms. We may block websites or tasks that are abused.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use Sochen to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else break it;
  • harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate or spam anyone;
  • get into accounts, systems or data you are not allowed to access, or get around security measures or access controls;
  • collect personal data about other people without a lawful basis, or scrape websites at scale;
  • create or spread malware, sexual content involving minors, or content that promotes violence or hatred;
  • overload, attack or reverse-engineer Sochen, or get around its credit limits or approvals; or
  • resell Sochen or provide it to others without our written permission.

We may stop jobs and suspend connections or accounts that break these rules.

6. Plans, credits and payment

  • Sochen runs on credits. Model turns, web tools, browser jobs and voice minutes use credits, as described on the Pricing page. Your Billing page shows what each turn used.
  • The Free plan includes free credits every week. Paid plans (Local, Plus and Pro) are monthly subscriptions that include credits for each billing period. Top-ups are one-time purchases of extra credits.
  • Free credits reset weekly and plan credits reset at each renewal; unused ones do not carry over. Top-up credits do not expire while your account is open.
  • Credits have no cash value. They cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for money, except as our Refund Policy says.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Billing, and you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo Payments charges you, collects any applicable taxes and issues your invoice, and its terms apply to the payment.
  • We may change prices or what a plan includes. A change never affects a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal.

7. Your content

  • You own what you put into Sochen (messages, files and memory) and what Sochen produces for you, as far as the law allows.
  • You let us store and process your content, and send it to the providers that run Sochen (AI models, web tools and hosting), only to provide Sochen to you. Our Privacy Policy explains how. We do not use your content to train AI models.
  • You are responsible for having the rights to the content you give Sochen.

8. Our service

Sochen, including its software, design and name, belongs to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it under these terms. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Sochen running, but we cannot promise it will always be available, fast or error-free. Sochen depends on outside providers that may fail or change. We may change, pause or end features. If we shut Sochen down, we will give at least 30 days’ notice where we can and refund the unused part of any paid period and any unused top-up credits.

10. Closing your account

  • You can stop using Sochen at any time. To close your account and delete your data, email ndivij2004@gmail.com from your account’s email address.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or is not paid for. Where reasonable, we will warn you first. If we close your account for any other reason, we refund the unused part of your paid period and any unused top-up credits.

11. Disclaimers

Sochen is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, including about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or results.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, data or opportunities, or for the results of actions you approved; and
  • our total liability for any claim about Sochen is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused it.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows the current version. For significant changes, we will tell you by email or in Sochen before they take effect. If you keep using Sochen after that, the new terms apply.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over disputes about them. If you use Sochen as a consumer, you keep any rights the law of your country gives you. Before starting a formal dispute, please email us so we can try to fix the problem.
