What is Claude Duet?+
Anthropic's proactive personal agent, in its own app, launched as a research preview on 21 October 2026. It brings you what needs your attention, works on its own cloud computer, and asks before it acts. It comes with Claude Pro, Max and Ultra in the US, by waitlist.
Can I use Claude Duet in India?+
Not yet: Anthropic says Claude Duet is US-only during its research preview. Sochen works in India, is priced in rupees, and can run on Claude models too. New accounts get their first job free, then a 7-day trial of Plus for $5.
Does Sochen use Claude?+
It can. On a plan you pick the model for each chat, Claude Opus 5.5 included, or GPT, Gemini, Qwen, Kimi and DeepSeek, and you can switch in the middle of a chat.
Is Sochen as capable as Claude Duet?+
Not in every way. Claude Duet reaches thousands of connectors and plugins and is built to help run a small business from your Claude account. Sochen works in India, lets you watch its browser and take over, talks with you on the phone from India or the US, and never uses your chats to train AI.
Can I use both?+
Yes. Nothing stops you from using Claude Duet in the US and Sochen for phone calls, UPI bill splits, rupee pricing or a browser you can take over.
