When to apply
As reported by exam news sites on 3 October 2026 from RRB's short notices of 21 September: NTPC Graduate (CEN 06/2026) applications 8 October to 6 November 2026, and NTPC Undergraduate (CEN 07/2026) 15 October to 13 November 2026, with the detailed notices expected on 7 and 14 October. How to make the RRB NTPC and Group D files
- Pick the upload at the top of the tool: photo, signature. The size, pixels and DPI from the notice are filled in for you.
- Drop in your image. For a photo, a recent one taken facing the camera against a plain wall in even light. For a signature, sign in black ink on white paper and photograph it flat; the tool trims to the ink and whitens the paper.
- Make it, check the ticks, download. Each tick is one part of the spec (KB band, pixels, DPI) measured on the finished file. The file is named for the form and the upload, so you can tell them apart when you upload.
Worth knowing for RRB NTPC and Group D
- Write the signature in running hand (joined letters), not capitals or separate letters: block letters are a stated ground for rejection.
- The signature you upload is matched at the exam, at document verification, at the medical and at appointment, so use the one you always use.
- Wear dark, non-white clothes for the live photo so you stand out from the white background; no cap, mask or spectacles.
The PDFs
